Confidence index industry insurance had 40% high in 2016 first half

The Confidence Index in the Insurance Sector (ICSS) was up 40 % in the first half of this year, according to a survey of the National Federation of Insurance Brokers – FENACOR.
It was recorded the fifth consecutive month of growth rate, which reached 94 points, the highest average of the last two years. This performance reflects the favorable expectations of companies regarding the recovery of the insurance market, despite a real fall of 3.6 % in the volume of premiums and contributions between January and April.
Experts believe that the recovery will become clearer in the second half.
There are segments that can boost business, such as property insurance and life insurance and benefits.
