According to a recent study by FENAPREVI ( National Federation of Private Pension and Life ) , the product of Life Insurance is present in 18 % of households in Classes A and B , in Brazil .
Households in Class C , the rate of penetration of life insurance falls to 6 % , while in Classes D and E , the product is present in only 2 % of households .
The data FENAPREVI point to the fact that currently only 9 % of the population ( 18 million people) have some form of life insurance.
The insurance market facing People , which includes Individual Life , Group Life , Lenders , and Dental Education , is expected to grow about 50 % over the next five years .
Brazil still has much work to accomplish in the area of life insurance , as well as companies specialized in this field.
